Meet the #DrHarveysDogs and Hear Their Testimonials - Part 1

We wanted to share some of our favorite #drharveysdogs and why they love our products. From the wagging tails during meal times to the playful energy they exhibit, it's evident that Dr. Harvey's makes a difference in their lives. Meet Larry (@kinglarry474)

This is my pup, Larry, who I had to include. Larry is a very loving, 10 year old rescue pup. He is a very goofy boy who loves food (he’s an official Dr. Harvey’s taste tester, if you didn’t already know). He loves everything we carry, but THRIVES on Raw Vibrance and the Hip + Joint soft chews. Larry has been dealing with hind leg issues, but he is still going strong and I have no doubt it’s because he eats a fresh diet. The best part? He LOVES meal time!

Meet Hati (@introducing_hati)

Hati is a rescued Husky/German shepherd/Malamute mix who is 4 and whose favorite things in life are hanging out with fish (literally bathing with them), puzzles, hopping into bushes chasing critters, and having visitors! He has been consuming Dr. Harvey's products for several years now and I contribute his wonderful coat, energy and perfect stool to these amazing products! He has a very healthy digestive system and clean breath!

Meet Trixie & Reyna (@trixiethemaltzu, @reynatheyorkie)

Trixie is a five year old Maltese-ShihTzu residing in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Trixie's Mom, Natalie, is a dog trainer and started training Trixie from the first day she came home. Since then, Trixie has learned over 30 basic obedience commands and tricks. Her favorite tricks to perform are the handstand, waving Aloha with her paws from a sit pretty position, and playing basketball.

While Trixie was experiencing frequent seizure episodes in 2020, Natalie researched different diets online and specifically searched for a low-protein formula. Natalie came across Dr. Harvey's and was thrilled to see they offered free food samples. She immediately ordered a few samples for picky Trixie to try. Trixie enjoyed the Veg-to-Bowl Fine Ground base mix most and three years later, she continues to thrive on Dr. Harvey's products. Natalie loves the simplicity and ease of making healthy, home-cooked meals in just minutes and having the ability to control Trixie's protein intake everyday.

Reyna is a two year old Yorkie mix residing in Honolulu, Hawaii, with her older sister, Trixie.

Reyna was already four months old when she went to her furever home. Reyna's Mom, Natalie, transitioned Reyna from her puppy kibble to Canine Health right away. Reyna sure loves to eat (often looking for any remnants her sister Trixie may have left behind)!

Reyna, a fearless jumper and ultimate cuddler and kisser, also enjoys the Veg-to-Bowl Fine Ground Pre-Mix. Like her sister Trixie, Reyna absolutely loves all of Dr. Harvey's single-ingredient treats too! Reyna is following Trixie's paw steps and has learned a lot of fun tricks with the Dr. Harvey's treats as her reward. Her favorite tricks to perform are picking up and putting away her toys, hugging Trixie, and giving high fives (paws).

Meet Humphrey (@humphreysaccaro)

Humphrey is a 4 year old golden retriever living in Hawaii on the Island of Oahu. Humphrey is an island boy who loves to swim, catch fish and dive for rocks!

Humphrey absolutely LOVES all of Dr. Harvey’s products. He truly thrives on Dr Harvey’s Canine Health, which is a holistic blend of 6 organic grains and 9 dehydrated vegetables. All I have to do is add a source of protein and some fish oil (we use Dr. Harvey’s Health & Shine Omega-3 fish oil of course!). It makes homemade meals so easy with our busy schedule so there’s no excuse for Humphrey not to eat a healthy meal!

Adding Dr. Harvey’s supplements to Humphrey’s meals has also been a game changer. Everyday he gets Solaris and the Multi-Vitamin and Mineral supplement added to his meals! You can tell by Humphrey’s energy, his appearance, and his overall well being that these supplements make a difference. We are grateful to have a company that cares so much about our pets' health and well-being!

Meet Ginger (@dystopianserenity)

Ginger is a rescue Basset Hound and Golden Retriever mix. She is an 8 year old cancer warrior!

Ginger likes: hiking, camping, car rides, doggie store trips, chasing squirrels and deer, finding hidden treats, chasing a laser pointer

Ginger dislikes: fireworks, thunder, bath, walkies in the heat

Ginger’s favorite treats: Dr. Harvey’s Sweet Potato Chews, Dr. Harvey’s Chicken Hearts, bully sticks, antlers, cheese, Pupcups, and popcorn.

Two years ago we decided to swap processed kibble for fresh and wholesome Dr. Harvey’s food and supplements, and Ginger has been thriving ever since! We rotate proteins between Chicken and Beef in the Grain-Free Garden Veggies Formula. We also love adding our own meat to Paradigm and switching up her meals. We love Dr. Harvey’s food because it has wonderful ingredients, it’s easy to prepare at home and while camping, and Ginger does great on it! Ginger gets a topper of Dr. Harvey’s chicken hearts in every breakfast and Dr. Harvey’s Health & Shine oil in her dinner. Hip + Joint Soft Chews are also a great hit since she is very active and getting older. It’s a delicious way to aid her hips and joints.
