I Am Truly Amazed! Thank You!

I just wanted to say thank you for all of your help in getting me started with Canine Health for Dixie. She is doing wonderfully and has not urinated in her bed at night since a week of starting this food. I am amazed!!! She is more active and wants to play and romp a little more. Sometimes it’s hard to get a 175 pound mastiff to be active…LOL

Bubba My New Rescue

I also wanted to let you know that I recently rescued a blind, heartworm positive(now negative after treatment) Mastiff named Bubba. He had been living in a concrete grain bin for the last four years of his life! He is a very sweet boy but had lots of callouses on his legs and feet and some were broke open and bleeding. He also was regurgitating the kibble that he was getting which relates to Mega Esophagus in dogs. I had recently lost a dog to this after a long battle.

So Many Problems

I decided that it was time to try the Canine Health and his sores on his legs are healing and HE NO LONGER REGURGITATES HIS FOOD!!!! He loves the Canine Health and is looking so healthy.

Thank You Dr. Harvey for Saving Hope

Dear Dr. Harvey,

Hope came to us as a rescue, she was one of the first dogs Michael and I would get after many years. We wanted a border collie, but on the smaller side and one that did not bark all the time.
Well meaning friends and family members, would make the statement, “you do not want a Border Collie. Then we found our Hope, calm, non-barking, smaller size, loving.

Rescued Hope

She came with some baggage, but we have adapted to her needs. Hope has huge fears of loud noises, and this become worse as she has aged.

Hope came to us when she was about 2 years old and now almost 13.

It Started With Weight Loss and A Cough

Over a year ago, she started losing weight to the point that we could feel her bones. She was coughing, and becoming lethargic. After taking her to the doctor we were told she had cancer and chronic bronchitis, and would most likely need Chemo.

And then We Found Dr. Harvey

We said no thank you and as I called my husband on the way home, we both had an emotional moment.
She is a part of our family. I felt powerless.

While I was heading home, Michael was on the Internet trying to find a homeopathic doctor, someone who could help us.
He found Dr. Harvey. I called and Dr. Harvey talked. I wrote down everything and listened. He said I was feeding her well, but to add the supplements he gave me a list to buy.
(I was feeding her homemade food.) After I looked online learned about Dr. Harvey’s food, I started using his food in Hope’s diet.

Within A Month Hope was Better

Within a month Hope had put back on most of her weight, stopped coughing and her hair was brilliant and thick. After a year and half. Hope seems to be completely healthy! No coughing and no cancer.
Her weight is stable. She has as much energy as when she was 3 years old.
We walk our two dogs almost daily and oh, I forgot to mention. Hope only has three legs, and you if you ever met Hope, you would say, she clearly thinks she has four. As we walk sooooooo, many people stop to see her. They just can’t believe how she runs and walks with only three legs.

My Best Friend Had Renal Failure

We Spoke On The Phone-It Was So Refreshing

We have spoken a few times over the phone, which I can’t tell you how refreshing that is in a world of automated customer service.

We Were Prepared for the Worst

When I first called you back in February 2012, my best friend Mason, a 5-year old Boxer-Lab mix was suffering from Acute Renal Failure. His kidneys were functioning at 20% and we were preparing for the worst.

With the exception of working from home, the signs were so subtle, I would have never known anything was up with him until it was too late. I took him to multiple vets, all prescribing medications, fluids, etc. None of which were working. We had been feeding him a premium kibble food, a choice that runs over $80 a bag and seemingly has a short ingredient list (compared to other store-bought pet foods).

Diagnosed with Cushing's Disease

I wanted to say “thank you” so much for helping our terrier mix, Emmawood, who was recently diagnosed with Cushings Disease. After speaking with Dr. Harvey and implementing the changes he suggested, she is doing SO much better (and without the medication!).

A Wonderful Unexpected Bonus

We decided to put all of our 5 dogs on Dr. Harvey’s and all are benefiting. As an unexpected (and wonderful!) bonus, our newly adopted dog who suffered from seizures has now been seizure free for almost two months. When we brought her home from the shelter, she had three seizures in a 12-hour period and was put on an anti-convulsant. The longest she would go between seizures (most likely brought on because she is epileptic) was 3 weeks.

Fifi Was a Very Sick Dog

Dear Dr. Harvey,

I just wanted to send you a quick note to tell you thank you for all of your help. When I first got my little Fifi 6 months ago (she is a 4.5 lb pomeranian) she was in bad shape. Fifi is a retired show dog who I got from a breeder. I thought that by getting a dog from a breeder that I could rest assured that this dog was free from any ailments and illnesses. However, I was very wrong. Despite getting a letter from the breeder’s vet assuring that Fifi was very healthy, when I took her to my own vet it was quite a different story.

Fifi Had Multiple Problems

To my surprise, Fifi had kidney disease and was spilling large amounts of protein in her urine. She also had high blood pressure, a thyroid condition, an enlarged heart and an ear infection.

My Heart Sank When The Vet Told Me

My heart sank when she said, “This is serious. Fifi is a very, very sick dog. If you don’t want to spend thousands of dollars in her treatments then you might as well just return her to the breeder.” I didn’t want to give up on Fifi; I knew there was something I could do. Immediately I got on the internet and began researching natural remedies for her many illnesses.

6 Months Later With Dr. Harvey’s

Six months later since we have been giving her the Dr. Harvey’s food, Fifi has improved tremendously! All of her kidney lab test results are within healthy rage, her blood pressure is normal, and her chest x-rays show no sign of an enlarged heart. I Am Completely Impressed

We Found Health! No More "Junk Food"

We Believed We Were Feeding the Best…

I’ve been meaning to write you for a while.

We started feeding our Boston Terrier, Dixon (right), Dr. Harvey’s Canine Health after his littermate, Mason (left), suddenly died of a very aggressive cancer. We had to say "Thank You!

I am writing to you to say thank you. My wife and I are the
parents of a beloved 5-year-old mini-dachshund named OliveOyl.

At around 2
years of age Olive began to have seizures. As time went on they
became more frequent and more severe with numerous trips to the
emergency vet and thousands spent on bills as well as a daily
medication that made Olive tired and fat with only minimal success of
epileptic control.

I Finally Did My Research

This past January she went into a cluster seizure and at that point I had had enough. I did my research about what

I am writing you to let you know of my experience with Dr.Harvey’s Canine Health food. I own a 4 year old Boston Terrier named Logan. Logan had serious health issues when he was a puppy. He had conditions that are most common to this breed, all related to breathing issues.

He Could Not Chew Kibble

Logan could not chew kibble and had no desire for wet food either. After Logan’s reconstructive surgery to his airways, I had reached out to Dr.Harvey’s where a wonderful person sent me out a slew of samples from the dog line.

He Was Such a Sick Puppy

I forgot to mention in my story that Logan was diagnosed with brachycephalic syndrome, a very narrow trachea, and stenotic nares which unfortunately is a genetic disorder in that breed.

With all these issues playing against the little guy at the age of 12 weeks, he did not really get to experience the “puppy life”. At 8 months of age he had the surgery to correct these issues minus the trachea. He almost didn’t make it. Logan developed pneumonia from aspirating after the procedure that night and after a long dreadful week in ICU at his vet hospital he came home to us.

What a Transformation!

Exciting News From Lisa’s Guardian!

A week ago we made a new set of blood analysis for her Kidney. The are almost PERFECT! Even the doctors at The Animal Hospital believe it is an unusual to see such a reversal in her health, especially at the age of 18!
I explained about the your food formula, and they have started to believe that the food IS the miracle. Without Dr Harvey’s food Lisa would not be around us anymore, moreover in such an improved condition.

We Can't Thank You Enough!

I wanted to send you a note of Thank You. I have a Cocker Spaniel with Cushing’s disease and skin issues that cause us both to weep openly on occasion. She has suffered for the last 5 years with “allergies” that she has been seeing a dermatologist for. We have been on antibiotics, special diets, medications for the skin, special shampoos and on and on it goes. No stone has been unturned and no expense has been spared. I have tried everything conceivable to make my precious Brandi as comfortable as possible. I have been following Dr. Harvey’s recommendations (change in diet, herbal supplements) and Olive continues to look much better. I am still apprehensive but hopeful that we are making significant improvements to her health. We have appointments this week to have our normal veterinarian look at her as her weight has improved dramatically and we also have an appointment with our vet that practices Eastern medicine to give her additional acupuncture.

I Am So Grateful for Canine Health!

Dear Dr. Harvey,

I adopted my two dogs in 2008 and they are now around 2 and a half years old. Ever since I brought them home my German Shepherd has vomited chronically, especially at night and in between feedings.

I tried every brand and type of food that I could think of, many of them quite costly, yet the vomiting only got worse. Up until 2 weeks ago and our latest trip to the vet (in which he confirmed that this would be a lifelong chronic problem) I had resigned myself to the fact that this was something that she and I would have to deal with for the rest of her life.

In a last ditch effort to try one more brand of food I was doing some research online and came across Dr. Harvey’s website and online reviews. After reading countless testimonials about how Dr. Harvey’s had significantly improved the health of people’s beloved pets I figured that it was worth a try. I also remembered Alicia Silverstone mentioning your food in her book ‘The Kind Diet’. I decided to purchase a 10-lb. bag of Canine Health, immediately went out and purchased my protein and oil, and waited for the food to arrive.

Let me tell you, my dogs haven’t been the same ever since! Both dogs were always very finicky and getting them to eat was a chore, but they cannot wait for me to set down their bowls of Canine Health. They absolutely love the food and gobble it up in seconds every time. While that in itself is a feat, I am the most excited about the fact that neither of my dogs have vomited once since switching to Canine Health!

Fatty Tumors Almost Gone on New Food

Hello Dr. Harvey and Staff,

I just wanted to drop you a message about how my dogs are doing on their new food. My almost 10 year Schnauzer was full of fatty tumors. I have had them all checked at the vets to be sure that it wasn’t cancer. Because of his age we decided not to mess with them as the surgery would have most certainly been very dangerous at his age. I could not take that after having just lost his brother on 11/20/11. Our intentions were to put him on this food too but it was too late and we never had the chance. A specialty vet clinic administered medications without discussions with us as to what the medications were for,the side effects and so forth. Thus taking my dogs life.

My Torre

Anyway back to the food and my Torre, the mini Schnauzer. He had one lump the size of a golf ball near his breast bone. We had to leave his harness large so it wouldn’t rub.

The Lump is Almost Gone!

After about 8 weeks of feeding him this food from Dr. Harvey’s, the lump is almost gone. As a matter a fact they are ALL almost gone. He had them in his groin area. Those have shrunken to pea size now. I am amazed and know just how BAD even the high-end dog foods, which I was using, with no by-products,are for dogs. He goes for blood and urine testing for his kidneys the first of February. We hope that the diet change will impact this for him too. I thank you for all of your help and for making a fine product for my fur babies.

Canine Health-The Miracle Dog Food

After 11 months of pure hell and concern dealing with almost daily soft stools with mucous and intermittent diarrhea; Bernie (my 14 month old Bernese Mountain Dog) immediately improved with discontinuing the commercial dry kibble products. I now prepare the protein source (chicken, turkey, beef, salmon, etc. on a rotating basis) to Dr. Harvey’s Miracle Canine Health Food, adding as recommended: oil, FAGE natural Greek yogurt and ricotta cheese (in lieu of cottage cheese as it has less sodium).

Diarrhea Gone–Overnight Improvement!

For the first time since she was 3 months old, Bernie barks to be fed, gobbles up her food instead of walking away from it, has NORMAL FORMED STOOLS from the 1st day following the food change, and displays much more energy. Everyone at work has noted the difference in her and actually think that she has grown a little more. All this in the past 10-days since starting this new “home-cooked” human-grade product (no fillers, no by-products, no preservatives, no chemicals…period). I didn’t even transition Bernie to the new food.

Bernie Will Never Eat Kibble Again

She will not be served commercial kibble ever again.

Dear Dr. Harvey,

I just absolutely had to thank you for caring so much about animals, to have put in the time and energy to come up with the perfect nutritious food for our little companions!

I have a 12 year old yorkie-poo, who has been “spoiled” all of his life. Over the past two years, he started having issues. Every once in a while he would have bouts of throwing up and/or diarrhea. I took him to the the vet a couple of times because I was worried about dehydration. The vet would give him subcutaneous fluids, and send me home with a prescription dog food and antibiotics, which would work just fine. He had lost weight, and started becoming more and more lethargic with each bout of stomach upsets.

This last time the vet recommended putting Elmo on a low protein diet. The search was on. I did a whole lot of research online. Imagine my horror when I discovered that the very same prescription diet food my vet sold to me was “preserved” with BHT and BHA:
Chemical Preservatives: Chemical preservatives include butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA), butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT), propyl gallate, propylene glycol (also used as a less-toxic version of automotive antifreeze), and ethoxyquin. BHA, BHT, and ethoxyquin are potentially cancer-causing agents. The long term build-up of these chemicals (that may be eaten every day for the life of your pet!) have not been thoroughly studied and may ultimately be harmful.

After reading that all of your products contain only human grade ingredients and no preservatives, I thought I’ll give it a try. I made the canine health with hamburger & olive oil the first day for Elmo. Not only did he devour it, but he was looking for more after licking the bowl clean. Mind you, I was leery of giving him too much because I didn’t want him to throw up. So, in the beginning I was feeding him a teaspoon. If he kept that down, I would give him another teaspoon in a few hours (just as the vet recommended I would feed him the prescription food).

Eventually, increasing the amount & frequency of feedings. Now, he is eating healthy helpings two and sometimes three times a day (he scratches at his dish to tell me he’s still hungry or hungry again). Since switching to canine health, he has only thrown up once. I had also given him some cheese that day for a little treat. Well, needless to say I don’t feed Elmo anything BUT the canine health, now.

He is gaining weight back little by little, and has been acting like a puppy again ever since I switched him over to Canine Health.

The best part is…he absolutely loves his food, and I love making it for him knowing I am giving him nothing but the best. My fiance’ jokes that the dog eats better than he does, but deep down he’s really happy that Elmo is doing so much better. Now, Elmo is truly “spoiled” as he should be.

I called the 800 number today to find out the safe amount of Borage and/or Flaxseed oil (soft gels) to add to the canine health. Not only, did I get a call back from the one & only Dr. Harvey, but you were unexpectedly funny and also very informative. I could tell you really care about each of us & our companions. Now, that’s what I call great customer service!

I have never been a sales person, nor do I aspire to ever be one. However, I already have & will recommend your products to every person I know that has a little companion. If I owned a pet store, I would only sell Dr. Harvey’s products.

I have attached a picture of Elmo & I the day he came into my life. I don’t think I have to explain how happy I was that day, the picture pretty much captures that. I know that Elmo can’t live forever, but I’m as happy as I was that day to know that he will live the remainder of his life as a very happy & very loved companion. I just had to write to say thanks to Dr. Harvey and staff for their awesome customer service and thanks from the bottom of my heart to Dr. Harvey for saving my dog.

My dog is doing WONDERFULLY!

My dog was diagnosed with kidney problems. After speaking with Dr. Harvey he made several suggestions on what to do to help my dog. My main reason for calling was to ask about the Canine Health The Miracle Dog Food. He wasn’t interested in selling me the product he was interested in knowing about my dog’s condition and wanted me to submit my dogs blood work on the kidneys. After reviewing the numbers, he asked if my vet was administering my dog any fluids; which he was.

Then he made several suggestions on what products would help which included Kefir yogurt and Coenzyme Q10. I told him that I wanted to purchase the Canine Health Miracle Dog Food which I did purchase and am truly happy that I did. Since I have purchased the food my dog is doing so much better. He’s gained weight, and looks so much healthier and even has a lot of energy.

In addition, my dog was suffering with skin allergies so I purchased the Herbal Protection Shampoo. I have been using other shampoos which contained chemicals. Although my dog smelled nice, his skin was starting to get dandruff really bad. For the last few years, I haven’t been able to stop the dandruff but after two baths using the protection shampoo, my dog no longer has dandruff! Normally, a Yorkshire Terrier which I own, skin color is blue. In addition, when you call the number to reach Dr. Harvey’s office, he sometimes answers the phone himself and if you don’t reach him, you can leave a message for him and he will return your call. He takes the time to return calls to his clients and do whatever he can to help resolve your pets illness or problems.

Dr Harvey and staff, thank you from the very bottom of my heart for all your help! Sometimes, I just cry because I can’t believe that I got this lucky. I’ve always been into herbs and vitamins but I never really took the time to do research on healthy foods and eating properly or even thought about how much my animals need to eat healthy as well.

Hi, I just met you at the Unleashed opening on Columbus Ave in NYC. I know I was gushy, but I have to tell you, my guys are here because of your food! I Am So Impressed With This Food

I am so impressed with this food and with this company I am telling all my pet loving friends.

Since eliminating most processed foods from my own diet for health reasons I have felt guilty about continuing to feed my dogs processed pet food. I knew it wasn’t healthy for them if it wasn’t healthy for me.

Quite by accident I stumbled across some information about Dr. Harvey’s Canine Health. After doing some research I decided, with some apprehension (both of my dogs have a history of stomach upset when their food is changed), to give it a try. Just as Dr. Harvey predicted—yes, he actually spoke to me in person—they’ve had only minor adjustment issues. And all it took was a little fine-tuning of the recipe (with Dr. Harvey’s help) to address those.

The dogs love their new food. And besides feeling better about giving them fresh food, I sleep better knowing that I am no longer contributing to this country’s cruel meat industry because Dr. Harvey’s pre-mix enables me to add non-meat protein sources.

Lakota–A Chocolate Lab and Cancer Survivor

Dear Dr. Harvey,

Lakota our 11 year old chocolate English Blockhead lab was diagnosed with cancer last year, but he beat it with herbal mushrooms and going on a great diet Canine Health and Omega Capsules. Rocky Is In Remission

“Hello Dr. Harvey,

Our 8yr old Golden Retriever was diagnosed with lymphoma about 6 weeks ago by our local vet. In proceeding with treatment for Rocky, we expressed to our vet that we were interested in treating his disease with diet and supplements. He was very much in favor of this approach and contacted Dr. Bob Goldstein for us. He sent us supplements for Rocky and suggested your Canine Health premix to which we add organic protein.

Almost immediately we saw a difference in energy level. He sits with anticipation while we prepare his meals. "I wanted to tell you more of our story (mine and Ojito’s). Early in her life, Ojito had corrective surgery on both hips due to hip dysplasia. The surgeries worked wonders, and Ojito spent many years hiking and going on daily walks averaging 2 or 3 miles. She’s a chow-aussie mix, about 43 lbs. A happy girl. The vet told me to keep her on low-fat food, so that’s what I fed her (a very good brand, mind you).

Sadie's Eyes Finally Cleared!

I am writing to tell you how much I appreciate your time and patience when I called you about my twelve year old foxhound, Katy. Katy has Cushings disease and for the last several years has suffered from hair loss, inflamed liver, profound itching and chronic ear inflammation. Dr. Harvey’s dog food was a revelation! My dogs had been eating packaged, dry dog food purchased at a pet store and one in particular had alot of health issues including poor digestion, dull coat and dry skin. I Have Used This Food for Five Years

I am a HUGE fan of this product. After the loss of a very beloved dog, I did months of research on pet food, both in print and on the Internet. I was appalled at what I uncovered! I made a vow to find the best food for my two new puppies. They came from a rescue league with a supply of a name-brand dry puppy food. I immediately weaned them off of that an onto Dr. Harvey’s. My heart went out to all the pet owners who lost pets and those who worried they might experience such losses, but I was joyful in my knowing that I did not have that worry. This is truly a wonderful product and Dr. Harvey is equally wonderful.I called and pummelled him with questions before I bought the product. Buddy Inhales this Food!

Our dog Buddy is a Black Lab/Pointer mix and is 12 years old. He devours Dr. Harvey’s dog food morning and night. It takes us about 10 minutes to make in total—-while Dr. Harvey’s food is on the stove cooking we usually microwave chopped meat or use leftover dinner meat (chicken breasts, steak, etc. chopped up) from night before which is then mixed in with Dr. Harvey’s food along with oil. Buddy’s digestion used to be terrible but has improved significantly with this wholesome food but more importantly, he just loves it! He is very impatient waiting for it to cool down for a few minutes. crying and pacing until his dish reaches the floor. At this point, i truly believe he inhales the food-its gone that quick!!! Buddy has been On Dr. Harvey’s dog food for 9 months and we will most certainly continue to give it to him. We are all very happy with this product.

“Enclosed is a picture of our two Labrodoodles, Montecore and Morgan aged
3 1/2 and 1 1/2. In June 2008, we started making Canine Health for them. Montecore weighed 78 lbs and Morgan weighed 80 lbs. Our vet told us they both needed to get back down to 70 lbs. By fall 2008, they reached their goal! My husband had also started walking them for 45 minutes a day. We did not put them on Canine Health to lose weight, but to be healthier. Our vet thinks they look great now, and was impressed with the ingredients listed on the Canine Health package.

“I received the samples on Monday and I have to share with you how great your product is. I have tried every type of organic and healthy puppy food I could find and my little Miki puppy would not eat them without me spoon feeding her. Thank you for taking the time to talk to me about my elderly Jack Russell, Winston. He, and my other 2 dogs, love your food! They are so happy since I switched to your feeding program. Winston is very frail at 16.5 years old, and has a host of medical conditions, including Cushings Disease, which has caused him to have EXTREME itchiness and skin problems. His itchiness has only been able to be controlled minimally with steriods and antihistamines, but since switching to your food I have noticed a significant decrease in his discomfort and itching. “Dear Dr. Harvey,

I have a Siberian Huskey who will turn 13 on Wednesday. He weighs 62 pounds. He is a very good weight for his size and the vet is very pleased with his health. I did run into some feeding problems with him. I used to feed dry dog food to Meeshka, but he stopped eating it. I switched to canned dog food and he got diarrhea. So I went to the moist pouches which he sometimes eats, but most of the time ignores.

So…I did a little research and found out about all the dog food recalls along with the low ratings of the commercial foods. I then sent away for a free sample of your Canine Health Miracle Dog. That is exactly what it is – a miracle! I put some out for my dog and he polished it off in about 5 minutes (I’m working on slowing him down). Today, I drove 30 miles to purchase a 10 pound bag. I needed more and couldn’t wait for it to arrive via UPS!

UPDATE on Meeshka:
“Meeshka has now been on Canine Health for two months. He eats every day and is so excited to get his food. He now asks for it by standing in front of me and barking and running back and forth to the refrigerator.

I went on vacation and left him for my daughter to take care of and had to make his food for 8 days. We froze his meals and this worked very well. My daughter only needed to take the next days meal out the day before and leave it in the refrigerator. She then warmed it. He ate well every day. This is the first time we have arrived back after being gone that he didn’t appear agitated. My next purchase will be for Barkotti. He loves to chew and this is so much healthier than commercial products.
